Two brothers, one board
and a whole lot of ocean.
It all kicked off in 2010, when Victor and Walter went on exchange in Germany and crashed in hostels for the first time. That's where they caught something they never let go of: that real travel is about the people you meet along the way.
In 2013, Victor finished his economics degree in Floripa and set off to travel the world working in hostels — a trip meant to last 6 months stretched past 6 years. Back in Brazil for the summer of 2018, he picked up a few boards and started teaching surf in Barra da Lagoa. Sea Wolf Surf Club was born.
Then in November 2019, the dream became real: they opened the Sea Wolf Surf Hostel, the first house. Out of a love for the ocean and real connections with people from all over came the first home — and everything that paddled out after it.
From a dream to a crew of hostels.
One house at a time.
Victor and Walter crash in hostels for the first time and catch the power of real connections. The Sea Wolf seed gets planted.
Victor wraps his economics degree and hits the road. He works in hostels across Australia, Europe and the Americas. What was meant to be 6 months turned into 6 years of learning.
Back in Barra da Lagoa, Victor buys some boards and starts teaching surf. Sea Wolf Surf Club was born — where everything started.
In November 2019 the dream comes true. The first house opens, where surf, hosting and community all live under one roof.
In June 2023, Walter and Luisa come on as partners and open house number two — with a pool, Lobitos Bar and the best vibe on the island.
In October 2025 Sea Wolf Campeche opens and sells out 100% in its first weeks. Sea Wolf becomes the biggest hostel crew in Florianópolis.
